cooking with Hannah

We made Honey comb.

we tried 3 batches to get it right,

to make the honey comb you need

Baking Tray
Saucepan
Sieve
1 1/2 cups white sugar
1/2 cup honey
1 Tbsp Baking soda
pinch of salt.

instructions
1. line a baking tray with baking paper.
2. pour honey, salt and sugar into a saucepan and heat on a medium to high heat stirring continuously
3. heat for three minutes or until the mixture terns  an autumn brown colour
4. remove form the heat and add the baking powder stirring as it foams
5. quickly pour mixture onto the baking tray and leave to cool
6. break to enjoy😍

We had been reading the instructions wrong and didn't add enough baking soda the fist time we put in 1 teaspoon when it should of been Tablespoon.
so we added 2 teaspoons the next time again still not reading the instructions right
the 3rd time we added 3 teaspoons and it turned out extreme

I took some in to shear with my class and they all liked it.
Next we are going to make Cheese Scones.

How: We search up birds and we looked for the one we think is good.
Why: Because it is going to pet day and pet day is at the end of this term.
When we started our bird art on term 2. I finished on Monday the 5 of August.
I found it hard at first but it got easy.
The shape cutting .
ya i feel successful.

Science Together

Today we were learning together. We did science experiments. My favourite was when we made Oobleck. We put water in to a bowl. then we put two drops of food colouring. then we added some flower so that it would be hard. We learnt that there are three states of matter: liquid, solid and gas.
